Control Valves
Control valves are used to control the flow of media through the valve by varying the size of the flow passage as directed by a signal from a controller. This enables the direct control of flow rate and the consequential control of process quantities such as pressure, temperature, and liquid level. The opening or closing of automatic control valves is usually done by electrical, or pneumatic actuators. Normally with a modulating valve, which can be set to any position between fully open and fully closed, valve positioners are used to ensure the valve attains the desired degree of opening.

Controls & Instrumentation
Controllers and valve control instrumentation are used to monitor various aspects of the media flowing through a system. Temperature, flow rate, pressure, and fluid level are monitored by various control units to help regulate measurements within a system. Signals are sent from the control units to control valves instructing them to adjust their positions in order to achieve desired measurements within the system.
